H-2B

The H-2B visa is a temporary, nonimmigrant visa that allows foreign workers to come to the United States for short-term, non-agricultural employment. These jobs are typically seasonal, peak-load, or intermittent and are commonly found in industries such as hospitality, construction, landscaping, and seafood processing.

Who May Qualify?

  • For Employers

    • Must prove a temporary need and that there aren't enough U.S. workers.

    • Must ensure wages and conditions

  • For Workers

    • Must have a valid job offer, meet qualifications, and intend to return home.

How Long Does It Take?

The H-2B visa process typically takes between 3 to 6 months, depending on processing times for labor certification, USCIS petitions, and consular appointments.
